splitter is no good for cable

As the title of this item suggested this is for a cable setup i assumed there would be the correct splitter sent (5-1000 MHz). However the item received is a cheap Chinese satellite splitter (5-2500 MHz) that will likely cause problems due to attenuation, as is the case for me. I will buy a quality splitter made solely for cable and class this as a lesson learned.
