Need a Marshall in a box? Try this one before you go all boutique.
1 of 1 found this helpful I first tried out this pedal as a salesman at a local music store. I had tried some of the Boss COSM modules in their multi track recorders and left kind of unimpressed. That is definitely NOT the case with this pedal. You get a wide range of overdrive/distortion that is musical at every point. It is very amp like in the way it responds to your playing as well as where you set the gain level. It is musical all the way from its most benign setting all the way to full on. It has a great lower midrange focus and can make a single 12" combo amp get a pretty convincing stack tone complete with that "cabinet whack" in the lower registers. It also, much like the Marshalls it emulates, responds well to having a TS9 in front of it with the drive set low and the level cranked. It just tightens up like a Marshall does. This is probably my favorite Bos distortion.
In fact, I just bought one for my brother in law who finally decided to try a distortion on his pedal board. After a few hours he calls and tells me he wants three more to set differently because he can't find a bad sound with it.

Terrific
It wasn't until my historian brother in law made me aware, that I even knew the Hunley existed. Shortly thereafter, TNT made this movie. I think it does a good job of showing what these men endured to push the limits of themselves as well as naval warfare.

Great tuners at a great price
I have installed these tuners on just about every non-locking trem guitar that I have. In the past, I used Sperzerl lockers. And while they are a terrific tuner, these lockers drop right in on most Fenders, are just as effective as far as tuning stability, and in conjunction with a good nut (I use either TUSQ or the LSR roller nut), will allow you to actually use your tremelo without the fear of going out of tune.
