The Sinbad Trilogy - Bluray All 3 Films - 2 brand new & 1 like new

Powerhouse / indicator bluray.
these are just a delight. Once again, Powerhouse has loaded the discs with extras; even including a digitised version of the super 8 reels (not on all of the trilogy, but at least 1 or 2 - double check website). The film grain is fine and visible but of the time, with dynamation shots sometimes (due to the process) having less sharpness and clarity, but is to be expected for the special practical effects. Definitely turn off motion smoothing on your TV, and ensure real cinema - 24fps - is switched on. This gives a more filmic look, and is definitely the best way to watch. the colours and sharpness and detail are fantastic, the transfers themselves coming from a 2K scan from the original negative. - the eye of tiger having a 4K scan from original negative. For anyone who grew up seeing these on tv, or is perhaps a growing / existing fan of Harryhausen, this indicator trilogy is a must-buy. Loaded with commentaries, special features, and is far superior to many 'standard' 1080p lesser transfers out there. Can't recommend enough to other fellow film enthusiasts.
