Superb. What a difference a coat of pig oil makes.
Great. Work out to put it on hairy legs as by hand seems to work best. Difference is amazing. Mud didn't stick to their legs. Didn't need to wash them everyday. Do remove your rings before applying as it turns silver black and gold copper colour. Never tried it before I'd say try it.

Flimsy, bendy buy cheap buy twice.
1 of 1 found this helpful Plastic is very thin, stem to hole the umbrella is very very high, between the holder and stem it adds a foot to the height of the umbrella so it's then too high. The stem actually bends with the weight of the umbrella. I tried a smaller umbrella we have but the shaft of it is too slim for the unadjustable stem so we had to wrap it in tape to make it fit. It's just really not very good at all.

Didn't do its job.
It's a great concept but in reality it's very difficult to clip together in muddy conditions. If ground is uneven it just pops out without much coaxing. Even after cable tying each corner it still refused to stay clipped. First day of the horses walking over it three snapped, the three in the corner sank and we couldn't find most of them by the following morning. We have now used them as a single track to the muck heap for the wheelbarrow but boy they are slippy! So all in all I wouldn't recommend for about horses unless they were put on even dry ground first possibly.
