Batman Return of the Joker (1991) Review
This was a game I was dying to have as a kid, but now I have it as an adult and it's pretty fun. For starters, the game boasted that it was as hot as a Super Nintendo game despite being an 8-bit and this game does boast some pretty impressive graphics and music for an NES game. But how does the gameplay fair? Well, the one thing that sticks out is that even though you're playing as Batman, you use a gun (So it's a little like Mega Man or Contra). While it is bothersome, to have little variety in attacks, this is still a fun game if you like the genre. A common complaint is that this game is too hard. To be fair, this game does have some sticky spots, but there is a password and limitless continues to kind of even things out (though I know I would have found this game too hard as a kid). Also, it may irk some players that there is no health and levels don't have chekpoints. But this is still a pretty good addition to any Batman fan or fan of the genre.

The Legend of Zelda (1987) review
The Legend of Zelda - The one that started it all. But does it still hold up? Well, yes. The gameplay, which is overhead fighting of enemies and going from dungeon to dungeon to find the pieces of the triforce is still as fun today as it was in 1987. The music's classic, there's enough gameplay variety to keep you entertained and there's a save battery so you won't lose your progress. While it's obviously not as advanced as the other Zelda games, it's still a satisfying game and well-worth playing if you want to see the series's beginnings or just want a fun 8-bit adventure.

The Adventures of Batman & Robin Super Nintendo
You know it seems Batman's been treated better than any other superhero I can think of - awesome movies, awesome TV shows, and awesome video games. This game is a combination of the last two. Based on the Adventures of Batman and Robin TV show (one of my all-time favorite cartoons), the Adventures of Batman and Robin is a platformer beat-'em-up from Konami and boy is it a good one. The first thing will probably stick out is the graphics. This game seriously looks like you're playing an episode of the TV show. The music is also great too. The show had pretty cinematic music and this game has a pretty good 16-bit interpretation of that music. But music and graphics don't make a game. Gameplay does and this game really shines in that department too. Batman has a lot of attacks and items, the level design is great, the bosses are imaginative and players will actually have to use a little brain power to get through some of these levels. One thing I really like about this game is that every level offers something new. There are mazes, levels where you have to rescue hostages and even a driving section. Yes, you actually drive the Batmobile in this game! Faults are few and far between, but they are present. Being a Konami game, one might expect this game to be tough and yes there are some dicey sections, but this game isn't too tough. There's a password, difficulty selection and ability to select the number of lives to even up the odds. Some things aren't as self-explanatory as they should be, but a little brain power never hurt anyone. Some people may be upset that Robin isn't a playable character (even though he's in the title). Even though it would have been nice to have a multiplayer element, it's not that bad. After all, people would just argue over who gets to be Batman. Overall, this is a great game for the Super Nintendo and one of the best Batman games ever.
