Wonderful!
1 of 1 found this helpful I've seen this film a few times and it doesn't get old (which is why I've just bought a copy). The genius of Alan Bennett mixed with the wonderful acting of Maggie Smith and a beautiful (and more or less true) story. There are no car chases, torrid affairs or natural disasters; just a gentle, sweet and often funny film.

Great, but needed a slight tweak to work for me...
4 of 4 found this helpful On the whole, sturdy, well made and sticks to glass well. However, I saw that even though the birds had definitely noticed it, they were only hovering around it. Thinking that they couldn’t see where to land, yesterday I stuck a strip of black duct tape to the front of the feeder (where the bird would perch to feed) and this morning, drew the curtains to find the feeder half empty! Since then they haven’t left it alone and there’s often three at a time on it.
Depending on how well the duct tape lasts, I may paint the front panel instead at some point in the future but for now, the feeder’s working very well now they can see where to land. I can see that it’s going to cost me a fortune in mealworms!
