The beauty of this thermometer is that you do not need to disturb your children at a time of sickness to achieve a guide of how hot they may be.
It also has a touch temperature facility which is very easy to operate.
We compared readings with this thermometer against an in-ear NHS recommended make and model and all the readings we took were within half a degree.

Long handled shears ???
Bought these to save me bending down to cut the edge of my lawn where it borders the patio. Although the handles are not as long as expected they do the job but with more " back bending" than I would like.
Sharp enough and light enough to do that duty and reasonable value. My advice would be to buy from a shop to make sure they are the right fit for your needs.

Strimmer line
This was the cheapest 2.4 mm line on eBay and it’s well up to the task for domestic use. Even used it on a few local footpaths and it destroyed nettles and brambles.
