One of the better movie-CDs
5 of 5 found this helpful This CD is really worth buying. Apart from a few really bad songs ("Whiffenpoof Song", "Violet" and a couple more), this is a great set of songs. The now wellknown "A Little Less Conversation" and "Rubberneckin'" are here is in their original sounds. Other great songs like "Let's Forget About The Stars", "Clean Up Your Own Back Yard" and "Let's Be Friends" makes this CD great.

Elvis at his best!
5 of 5 found this helpful This 2CD-set really delivers. It's from Elvis' best studio sesssions. Returning to making great studio songs again, after years of making soundtracks to movies.
The first CD containing mainly the "old stuff", is just great for everyone to lsiten to. It's rock'n'roll, it's country, it's love songs, it's.....
The second CD has many alternate versions. Great for the Elvis collectors, but also for anyone that wants to explore Elvis' different moods and ways of singing. Wellknown songs, just a tad different from the official releases.
All in all, a great CD. Highly reommended.

A good album, but yet another compilation with bonuses!
4 of 4 found this helpful Yes, we have become used to it. RCA releases a compilation, with a few new songs. OK, I'll admit that "My Happiness" is a historic recording. Maybe THE most important recording ever made. Even if it has a lot of noice and wierd sounds on it, it's the first record Elvis ever made. Just for this reason, you should buy it. As for the other songs, they are very good, but nothing special. To highlight some, Elvis does one of his best versions of "Unchained Melody" on this CD. Just to mention other great songs, "Fame And Fotune", "Return To Sender" and "Always On My Mind" are among the best.
Buy it if you want the most historic recording ever, otherwise, skip it.
