Solid Ice-cold build & good enough IQ for the money
2 of 3 found this helpful It isn't exactly a very sharp less, especially at 5.6 (it's the wide-open setting for this lens).
But for it's price, it's a nice alternative for the new 70-300s in case you just wanna get this focal length for some reason other than sports or anything with moving subjects. Because even focusing can be managed but if you need to freeze subjects the 5.6 aperture is not enough for taking photos with high-shutter speed and ISOs below 1000 to 800.
