Quieter than before.
The good:
- It is 10dB quieter than my old 406 filter. According to my meter, noise level at 10cm away from filter is less than 37dB.
- three trays will provide more than enough media capacity for my 300L planted tank.
The bad:
- The flowrate drops to zero when the hose outlet is roughly 1.6m above filter.
Make sure the filter sits as high as possible relative to water surface to maximise the flowrate.
