Good Chisel Set
1 of 2 found this helpful First of all I was a little apprehensive about buying a set of chisels for such a cheap price and I expected very little. If they were good enough for rough work then I would be happy. When they arrived I quickly realised a good sharpening was in order, but I was actually impressed by their weight and balance. They sharpened up very well, though allot had to be done. It did take a while, but once finished they make a very presentable set of chisels and remain sharp for an acceptable duration. I would recommend these chisels to a novice for the excellent sharpening skills he would acquire, plus once correctly sharpened these chisels can perform as well as any other.

Unforgivable Machining
1 of 1 found this helpful I had heard about Bahco's quality on products such a files, rasps and even their chisels, so I decided to take the plunge and buy the 6 inch and 12 inch combination squares. The finishing on these items was atrocious. Sharp edges, the rulers were not even straight and required work to render them accurate. The work didn't take long 20 - 30 minutes or so, but this work should have been done by the manufacturer. I must admit Bahco are not alone. Many tool suppliers expect the buyers to finish the tools themselves, but extremely annoying it is too. The packaging was also very poor, not providing any protection of the tools during transit. These combination squares have the potential to be good, but are let down by the all important finishing touches. Unfortunate!

A good solid, nicely made machine.
1 of 1 found this helpful A very good little router, The price certainly does not reflect the quality of this machine at all. It is remarkably well made indeed. Solid in its design and performance. I would strongly recommend this product to trade and D.I.Y enthusiasts alike. Thumbs up all the way!
