I bought this book for my wife and this is what I've heard so far (other than a strangled clarinet for which I originally reported my neighbour to the RSPCA for cruelty to her cat - sorry Fran). She has gone from strangling her clarinet to getting some reasonable sounds from it that are mellow and (relatively) in tune to my unrefined ears. The book is written in the inimitable style of the Dummies series (OK, I admit I had a sneaky read of various bits so I can sound as though I have a little idea of what I'm muttering on about) and she does emit the odd chuckle every now and then. I am also no longer 'required' to 'just try and see if you can get a note out of this ******* thing' on a daily basis. From what I see and (more importantly hear) I think the book must be pretty good if my wife stops swearing and asking me to 'try this'... I'd certainly tell friends and family that it's a good buy.

Great UPS

Software is very good, integrates well with Gmail and it’s possible to mute the alarm in software which is brilliant! No more bleating in the dead of night! All in all great value, great product and I am one very happy consumer. This product is obviously aimed at home users like me and as such is just perfect.

Need VoIP? Then this is great value and quality
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my first Grandstream VoIP phone and I love it! They just work, I use VoipCheap for calling (Account 1) and localphone as a DID provider (Account 2) and it all just works, I now have a local telephone number that friends and family can call me on wherever I am on the planet. I bought this from systemsexchange, really nice company to deal with, friendly and helpful. I've been using this phone for a couple of weeks now and calling to mobiles, landlines and internationally, I've had no issues. Call quality is brilliant, for the technical bods out there, modulation is very good, no echo, no hiss, no call dropping. I'm on FTTC for DSL connection but this also works well on straight ADSL I'm told. I'll be trying that next week so I hope they were right :) Edit: 24-08-2019 I've been using this for months now and I'm still just as impressed as I was when I first bought it. Call quality is great both ways.
