Drogue not suited to Reservoir boats

The Drogue doesn't deploy correctly. I had to retrieve the drogue and redeploy it several times in order to get it to splay out. The buoyancy insert at the top of the drogue makes it sit too high in the water. Finally, having a single chord attachment to the boat means that if the wind direction changes the boat careers around. I lost a two point attachment drogue and needed to replace quickly. Should have waited and re-ordered original brand. That said, this particular style of drogue may work well on Kayaks or inflatable boats?
