A very precious "must" for all early-music lovers.
1 of 1 found this helpful I remember seeing this film on television some years ago. It was a curious film, depicting a range of moods rather than a storyline: its star was not Gerard Depardieu nor yet Monsieur de Saint-Colombe, but the viol family. The mood is in the main part melancholy but is a cathartic relief from any depression rather than contributing to it. Tous les matins du monde, and all the sweet, sweet melancholy too.
