30 Double Shaded Embroidery Thread Spools 30 Colours, Good Quality

Double-shaded but not close shades

This thread is double-shaded. From the picture, I expected it to be two close shades, as you get in variegated thread. But the second shades on most of the spools is white or off-white. Otherwise, the thread is as strong as the reels you buy on the High Street and seems to be knot-free so far. Aside from the colours, this is good thread - if colour and white bands are what you are after, I recommend it. Regarding the colour not being as I expected: we quilters are a creative bunch, so I shall make it work for my project - but it will require a little more thought than I anticipated...

Perfect!

These cup cake toppers were perfect! My daughter loved them. The people who ate them loved. Even the boys. With six different ponies in a variety of colours, there is enough choice for everyone to get something they like. This if the first time I've used printed sheet icing. When they arrived, I realised they weren't cut out and worried - but I needn't have. Because they are made with printable icing, they are much easier to use than the wafer ones. They are much easier to cut out in circles. To stick them onto the cake, you need only a smidge of buttercream rather than nice flat, smooth runny icing or a flat cake top with a smear of icing on. All in all, they are brilliant and I would definitely buy these (or an equivalent that fits the theme) again.
