2GB 2 RAM MEMORY HP Compaq MINI 311 311C

it just works
It just works for a decent price. No one will bother to run speed tests with this kind of memory now a days, it just what you need to bring an old PC back to life to perform well enough for your kids to use.
936 Power Electric Soldering Station SMD Rework Welding Iron 110V 220V

Good enough
I can't imagine much better value for the money for a hobbyist, It's dead easy to operate (just turn the knob to the temperature you want). It heats fast, in less than a minute; The led tells you when it is hot as it flashes when applying power to the iron; I didn't need to calibrate mine, I measured the tip temperature with the temperature probe of my DMM and it was close enough, but there is a screw to let you recalibrate in case of need (did not try it); The iron is low quality but it's comfortable in hand and the handler don't get too hot; You'll want to get extra tips anyway, don't expect years of use. Negative points go to the iron support, it's easy to place the iron with the tip touching the plastic, you'll notice this immediately because that plastic *smells*, it does not burst in flames, so I guess it's ok from a security point of view, but it will melt real easy. Grab a generic metallic support. Inside the box is a generic universal switching power supply. I can't run electric tests on it but it doesn't get hot nor produce any humming so for the time being it looks to be ok. I'd prefer if the power cord was socketed, as it is I had to change the plug to an EU one, I'm sure this wont be a problem for anyone, if you're soldering you MUST know how to change a plug, right?

Not bad, not bad
Not bad, not bad, acceptable for the price. This is the 3th different cheap solder that I got from ebay and the only one I'll keep. It does not solidify perfectly shiny but much better than two 60/40 that I tried. I wouldn't recommend it for professional use but it's ok for home use.
