A pen for all seasons
I'm a consulting engineer and often on site. The beauty of the Lamy Multisystem is that it gives me a good pencil for making sketches and simple illustrations to clarify explanations to clients and contractors. At the same time, the pen is sharp and reliable, it seems to work at all angles and penetrates NCR forms for delivery notes.
But, the most delightful part is that it's all in one package so when I need to burrow inside multiple layers of insulation for my writing implement, there's only one to look for thus no chance of getting it wrong.
I have used Lamy Multisystem pens for a few years now and only replace them when they are lost/run over/nicked, but, every time I just buy another! When a product is so perfect, why think about anything else?
