Fantastic Mic
2 of 2 found this helpful It sounds *sooo* good. The frequency response is switchable, between a "broadcast vocal" setting and a "kick mic" setting. It works very well in both roles.
For differences between this and the RE20, the EV Mic guy on youtube can address them in far more depth.
Just know that if you want a nice, bright broadcast mic that DOESN'T require an extraneous 40db of clean gain (Sm7b, I'm looking at you), this is the way to go. IT sounds great on clean vocals, screamed vocals, and handles high-spl signal with ease.
You will love it.
