X5687 + X58 motherboard = Good performance at very low cost

Bought this product because of my previous experience with Xeon X5690. Turns out there is not much difference in terms of the overall performance of this CPU and X5690. Used it to build an X58 base system for my son. Works very well and I very please with the finished system performance. High end performance for under £200 total build build cost. My son is very pleased. The system is named the Frankenstein Monster because it is based on parts from old computers and a new solid state drive making a it beast of a machine.
