Works as expected

Excellent inexpensive alternative
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this lens to use on current model Sony cameras, one full frame, the other APS-C. To adapt it, I bought the Sony LA-EA4. It is proving to be an excellent set-up, focuses quickly on both bodies, provides sharp, contrasty images, and costs a fraction of the current Sony 100-400 lens.

Just get it
0 of 1 found this helpful Dumb intuition tells us, the ignorant, that we "should" be able to reinstall our Headshok fork by pushing or pounding from the fork end, the bottom. That does not work. I'm a reasonably experienced mechanic on all sorts of things and I spent days proving it doesn't work, and meantime beat the precious original candy apple red paint off my Headshok.
Using this tool to apply impact on the head tube from the top, the Headshok was perfectly mounted in about 10 seconds. It seems so elegant for such a "simple" process!
If you're working on the cherished old Cannondales with Headshoks, get this. You'll be glad you did.
