The Ghost And Mrs. Muir

I have always loved this story of a young widow and her relationship with the salty ghost of a sea captain who haunts the cottage she rents. The chemistry between Gene Tierney as Lucy Muir, and Rex Harrison as Captain Daniel Gregg, is enchanting. I love the charming "surprise" happy ending. I would recommend this film for fans of the actors and anyone who loves a good historical "ghostly" romance.

Knitter's Pride Viewer Knitting Needle Gauge

This gauge measures very small needle sizes (US 0, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5) which is why I purchased it, for sizing the fine circular needles I used for knitting socks. It also measures needle sizes up to US size 17. The 2.25 x 6.5 inch gauge is made of clear plastic (1-2mm thick) backed in red with clearly marked white numbers. It includes a 14.5 cm/6 in ruler, situated on either side of a rod magnifier, similar to the magnifiers one uses to keep one's place on a cross stitch pattern. The magnifier is marked to measure how many knit (or crochet) stitches in 10 cm/4 in, making stitch counting much easier. This versatile, complete and accurate gauge is even nicer than it appeared in the listing, and it only cost $5.00 (with free shipping), I recommend this needle gauge to any fibre crafter.
