Pink Floyd : Animals CD (2011)

A much improved re-master.

I have the original vinyl and '94 cd re-master and was always slightly underwhelmed by this album. The sound balance was not good which is surprising when compared to the band's two previous releases. I noticed few (if any) improvements in the 2011 releases of Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here but the 2011 re-master of Animals is so much better. All the instruments are much more distinct and the animal sound effects are likewise improved.
