Works well to refurbish a torn-up cat scratching post
2 of 3 found this helpful I bought this to replace the rope on my cat's scratching post. The post is two 2x4s attached back to back and secured on one end to a pedestal base. The post is about 3 feet tall but with some carpeting top and bottom so that the rope-wound part is around 24" long. The 50' roll of rope wound tightly around the post covered all but about 6" of the 24" required, so I'm ordering another roll or two to ensure full coverage and have enough to replace it again next time. I secured the rope with heavy duty metal staples I bought to secure electrical wiring to studs.
The rope is noticeably less coarse than the original rope, and I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing. It also has a discernible odor but my cat doesn't seem to be put off by it so far.

Quite expensive but worth it.
This sound bar has monster sound output. The Dolby Atmos effects are very good. The setup was quick and easy - I knew from other reviews that there is a certain order in which to power on the various pieces so that they pair successfully. The one negative is the rather small function display which is inexplicably located on the top of the unit, so it can't be seen from where one is sitting.
Currently this is set up in my (temporary) apartment, and I am sure that if I cranked the volume up over 25% I'd have neighbors knocking on the door. I can't wait to see how it performs in my house when it's completed. My hope is that it will eliminate the requirement for regular in-ceiling Atmos speakers in the living room.
