Cheaper version of Meccano

I grew up with Meccano, this is similar but with Metric dimensions and amazingly the small tin contains the parts to build a 40cm tall model of the Eifel Tower. It takes several pleasurable hours to build using the spanner and screwdriver provided. The parts could instead be used to make your own designs and using the contents of several tins together with other supplers small gears and motors etc very complicated models could be built relatively cheaply.

Cured overheating

My old 17inch laptop was overheating even though I reduced the processor speed and cleaned out the vents. The laptop cooler has cured the problem. It has 3 settings- 3 fans, 5 fans or one fast fan. I am running it on 3 fans, that is keeping the computer cool and also seems to be gradually blowing the dust out of the computer. The control buttons for the fan settings are placed at the back which is awkward and the only way to stop the fans when the computer is in sleep mode is to pull out the USB. Those are only minor niggles though and it seems to have saved the computer from damage.
