Works great
Took a plunge after reading mixed reviews and mine works great. Old carving knives, including a long serrated bread knife have a new razor sharp lease of life.

Quality deck - recommend.
1 of 1 found this helpful Writing as a sound engineer (BBC TV & Radio, retired), this deck is pretty much pro quality. This same deck also gets badged by Technica at a higher price (the ultimate in decks), so you can't go wrong. Tone arm balance, pitch and skate controls. Strobe to ensure accurate speed, although it's so well calibrated that speed is bang on in the default zero position. Solid build quality. Thrilled with it, highly recommend.

Poor quality
Very crackly connection. Threw it away and replaced with a gold-plate adaptor which works fine.
