Dexter in print: different stories, same old Dexter
I have the full set now. For anyone who loves the tv series, I would say these books are also well worth having. The storylines differ a lot from the tv, but they still have the laconic black humoured narration from our favourite serial killer. Funniest difference is, in the books Sgt Doakes is not killed off, but instead ends up having his hands, feet and tongue removed (not by choice I hasten to add!) So he now has to use a voice synthesiser: a joyful voice tells Dexter "I'm STILL watching you, m*****f*****!" Classic!

Chieftains with some great guests
Excellent CD, obviously a good choice for the Christmas time but you can listen to this any time and you will love it every time. And what a great selection of guest singers - Elvis Costello, Marianne Faithfull, just brilliant.
