You can get a decent high dynamic range transmitted-light chart at reasonable cost.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a sheet with 21 steps of transparent gray scale which has been used for film processing etc.
By putting it on a flat light, you can make a transmitted-light chart which spans 10 stops range, which is hard to be made with reflective chart.
Step tablet no.3 is about 1 feet length and no.2 is about half.

It's a few of real HD cine-zoom.
1 of 1 found this helpful It's made by the Fujinon's highest standard as well as their current PL zooms.
Although it's nearly as heavy and bulky as their premier line PL zooms, most of its quality is comparable to them except for deeper DOF and frame format.
Mechanically, it has cam drive focus and zoom which is so smooth that you can easily make slow zoom or what ever.
Optically, it has well controlled breathing and distortion, constant T-stop, excellent coatings, parfocal inner zoom and focus. In term of resolution, it seems to be overkill for HD so you have to wait 4K 3-chip sensor cameras to come around.
