Difficult to use.
Sloppily designed.

Insufficient data
The device permits charging and discharging of a 5S lithium battery, but it is not possible to say how well it is taking care of the individual cells in the pack since the information on cell over-charge cutoff voltage and cell over-discharge cutoff voltage is not very specific. After bottom-balancing the pack and taking it through several charge/discharge cycles, the cells remained well balanced. Maximum charge current specified is 2A, but we aren't told if the device imposes this limit or if it needs to be externally imposed. It would also be useful to know what range of charging voltage may be used. I will do some testing to find these things out.
The device seems designed to mimic the battery protection boards in certain cordless power tools, and it is the same width but it is marginally longer. I haven't had chance to see if it will fit into, say, a Makita battery pack to replace the existing board. It is nice though that it has a thermistor for temperature sensing, just as the original board does, and that it has a complete set of sense leads (the original Makita boards had only a single sense lead and so depleted one pair of cells, causing the Makita charger to reject the battery instead of charging it).

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
For less than £15 this is an invaluable addition to the dash. Very easy to fit.
