1 of 1 found this helpful I bought these sight unseen after finding a number of in-depth reviews, including allbinos, after trying out Vortex Diamondback & Viper, Nikon Monarch 7, Zeiss Terra ED, and finding the cost/performance ratio of the latter two to be lacking.
I'm very happy that I bought these as the clarity of the glass for this price is unparalleled. Loss of sharpness is apparent around the periphery of the picture but is comparable to what I saw in the Viper, being very well controlled. The size and weight are fine for my purposes (primarily hunting), and I'm a big fan of the short range of motion on the centre focus knob (270deg) as this allows for quick acquisition across the depth of focus without frantic finger rolling.
At this stage I have nothing negative to say about these - I like the rubber coating for grips, the ocular lens covers are joined by an accordioned bit of rubber so they remain in place at your preferred interpupillary distance.
We're in wildfire season at the moment so testing long range, and low light, performance has been a challenge, but viewing out to 500yd I could read house addresses clearly at dusk.
