Tragedy is best served cold
If you need action movies don't watch this film!
But if you enjoy the interdependence of individual characters and the places they find and create The Love of a Woman is for you.The films of Jean Gremillon avoid drama, which is created for an audience, and the evolution of a situation effected by its own internal relations. The latter is now a rare delight.

Very Functional
These stands are well designed and engineered and they have brought out a little something extra from my active speakers. If you value their function then you won't mind the fact they don't blend in to the decor of a comfortable room. They are tall and suited to heavy speakers so they are bound to stand out.
The assembly was straightforward, but a little tricky when you only have two hands.
I paid £100 inc. P&P, which I think is a fair price, but they were no bargain.

Imagination and Precision in the performance of Lutoslawski
Lotoslawski's Piano Concerto is the most stimulating and accessible piece in his mature style. On this disc to is played with the freedom and imagination of Kristin Zimerman and the precision and respect for the score that is Rattle's trademark. The Second Symphony does not attempt the lyricism of the Piano Concerto, its uncertainties contrast with the conviction exhibited in the Piano Concerto.
