These incubators are adequate for function but the displayed temp should not be relied on as can be out a couple of degrees. Use a internal thermometer to check correct temp.
There can be a few degree temp gradient top to bottom.
Main issue is the reliability. They can stop working during incubation. The fan goes but no heating or cooling. They are easy to fix as the 12v 10A relays fail. The heat contact burns out requiring the relay to be replaced. This is easy and cheap but better quality relays should be used in manufacture.
One I had the peltier (heat/cool unit) failed requiring replacement. I have 3 incubators and they all have gone faulty at some point. Now have spares to keep them going as it is worrying when they fail mid term.
If you buy keep your warranty handy, you may need it. It is a shame as most of the other parts of the unit seem quite reliable which is why it is fair value but poor quality when it could be far better with little effort.
As a note spares to fix them are available from ebay but some of the relays are worse quality than the ones fitted. The relay spares I use are RS components 476-583. The Peltier unit is a TEC1 12705 and you will need some white thermal paste/ heatsink compound if replaced.

HRT3 Central Heating Thermostat - Horstmann - Room Stat
I like these thermostats as they have extended range so they can be used as a frost stat. Also when the thermostat switches on the neon lights to show heat demand active. In the end I used 5 of these. It can also switch up to 10amp.
