The end of bitter coffee.
For the last 20 years, I have used Cuisinart burr grinders for my daily coffee. I never found a way to transfer the coffee from the grinder to the coffee filter without some spillage, either on the counter or in the coffee maker. With this unit, you can grind directly into espresso filters, or fold a paper cone or basket filter into the ground coffee container (with the lid off). This grinder operates at sane speed, and doesn't fling ground coffee into the container at high velocity. It grinds less quickly and the ground coffee gravity feeds into the filter.
It's easy to tune to the coffee you are using, and the characteristics of your pot. You can select grind time (volume), grind size and the number of cups you are brewing. A press of a button makes the selected values default for the grinder.
I have a Breville Juice Fountain, and now consider Breville a maker of quality kitchen appliances.

Possibly the world's best shirtpocket camera
4 of 4 found this helpful This is my second V610. The first was stolen in December. If you see one with serial# KCKFV63305088 it's mine. I replaced it with the same model because the camera has everything I want except for a viewfinder. With 10X zoom, bluetooth file transfer and ability to use a 2gb SD card, it's the perfect travel camera. It also takes excellent Quicktime movies and it recharges from either 120 or 250 volt sources. The camera has stabilization, and reports the result with an icon - you can tell immediately how large you can print the picture you have just taken.
This camera was not a big seller, due to a price point around $400.00. It is no longer widely available new, but I found a virtually unused one on Ebay, and consider myself lucky.
