A Pale View of Hills. A recollection of distant memory
An enigmatic narrative of the memories of a Japanese woman now living in Endland. She thinks back to events in Nagasaki which was being rebuilt after the war. But her memory is uncertain. Events are conflated and confused both in place person and time
It makes for a surprisingly easy though unsettling read. With many unanswered questions. Recommend
