assic hardback, nonecof this Kindle stuff!
I had the same copy. After recently moving house and storing some books (etc.) in a mate's shed, there was a decent old monsoonal downpour and some rain seeped through the roof, hit that carton and drenched the original book within (amongst others).

Hopefully the boffins heed the reviews and have another crack.
Not all blurays are up to scratch. You take your chances, gutes oder schleckt glüchlich. I always wanted to buy this one, although the reviews I read weren't all that good, and it can depend on the way the blurays are produced and by which company. Someday this one may be rehashed again, it needs it. I've had the 2004 DVD for a long while, it was a bit fuzzy as well on the screen. Not your company's fault, you don't make them!

Great book if you're into the WW2 spy genre.
I had the same hardbook copy of this novel years ago, but at some stage some mould grew on a box of books I had in storage for a short while. Gradually I've been able to replace some of them via online sales, generally they're near impossible to find in Australian book stores. Terrific condition, you'd think it was made yesterday.
