Essential for Aubrey and Maturin Fans.

I make no claims to impartiality in this. I'm a huge fan of Patrick O'Brian's seafaring stories and this is an ideal companion to those books. If you have read or are reading these great novel's you will certainly enjoy this book.

AZ Great Britain Road Map

Easy review this one. Hard to believe you can produce such a well thought out map for such a low price. Clear, concise, with well judged decisions regarding detail and an attractive pallet of colours. Britain fits very nicely on this two sided map allowing a very nice scale. Glad I have mine.

Pencil me in!

Staedtler have a well earned and justifiable reputation for quality at a great price and it is admirably upheld by this little beauty. Many artists swear by Staedtler pencils and as this is their own graphite one can expect similar performance here. There are a wide range of different graphite's available in the nicely arty 2mm size. There's at least one very fine artist on' YouTube' who cite's the 'Mars techno' as a favourite tool in his armoury. Which is why I gave it a try; and I'm glad I did. It's got a solid reliable feel and the 'Claw' has a firm grip. At this kind of price why would you hesitate to give one a try?
