Great sound - good functions
I am very pleased with this system. I was attracted by the ability to record digital radio and other reviews that praised the sound quality.
The sound is certainly excellent, for the money, and I like the fact that it has FM as well as digital radio. I listen to Classic FM a lot and that station sounds much better on FM than digital. This is curious because they do push digital radio on their programs.
The CD player sounds good and works well but I don't use that much because the system has the ability to play MP3 files stored on a SD card. I have put my CD collection onto a number of cards (using the computer, this system can't record MP3s) and I play them rather than the CDs. The SD card reader does not take SDHC cards so the largest capacity you can use is 2GB but they will hold about 8-10 albums. It will not play WMA files so you should make sure the computer is set to rip to MP3 and not WMA. A slight criticism here is that the folder names are limited to the old DOS format of 8 characters. If you use a longer name, you get the first 6 characters followed a Tilde (~) and a number. The track names come out OK though.
One of the great features is to be able to record digital radio programs up to a day ahead (this is a limitation of the programme guide rather than the system). There is also about 20-30 mins of current radio station recorded in a memory, so you can pause live radio or go back a bit if you want to hear something again.
There are a couple of auxiliary inputs for an IPOD, Record Deck or whatever.
All in all, a great little system.

Excellent good value drive
Purchased two of these as internal backup drives. No problems, they were recognised immediately by Windows and appear to be doing the job well. At the time of purchase there was a shortage of hard drives due to a disaster at a major plant.

A tough little set of drawers
This has useful size drawers and is made of a tough polythene type of plastic. Although there are slots for individual drawer dividers, it doesn't come with any. Perhaps the seller would consider selling a pack as an optional extra. The holes in the back make it easy to mount on a wall.
My only criticism, and its a small one, is that there is no provision to put a label card on the front of the drawer.
The listing doesn't give the overall dimensions so here they are (to nearest half centimetre) - 47cm high, 38cm wide and 16.5cm deep (including drawer handles).
