Note UK buyers - this is for a left hand drive vehicle.
Good product and would have been 5 stars but I wish they had made it clear it was for a left hand drive. The rigid plastic gromet for the cowl is shaped and does not fit into the right hand drive mounting. I used the cowl from my old leaver, so not the end ofthe world, but I would have preferred the new one I bought to the damaged one I had hoped to replace.

does the job
I had an old pc in the attic i wanted to try Ubuntu on, but needed a monitor. This was cheap and had the right connector. Turned up quickly, very clear image does the job.

Treo 680 with Palm Os
I have been a palm user for years and like the treo 680 because it has the palm os and synchronises with the palm desktop. I have stacks of info I don't want to transfer by hand and MS Outlook (the default option for palm win/os upgrade) is crap for organising and security. The phone itself is a bit heavy for these days (about 1.5 iPhones in size and weight), and it doesn't have wifi. Also the touch screen 'answer' 'reject' buttons are huge when a call comes in. It is ridiculously easy to reject a call whilst trying to get the phone out of a pocket or bag just because there is this huge sensitive reject area just where you need to hold the phone.
All that aside, the screen is clear, operation is reasonably simple (though less intuative than Nokia or iPhone). The Mail app is easy to set up and use and the keyboard is clear to read and clean to type on. There are loads of fun and useful palm apps about. Adding decent ringtones to the native phone is unnescessarily hard but there are apps that overcome this. Since breaking my old treo I have tried an iphone 3 and a blackberry. Of the three the Treo has the best signal reception by far. That said, if I wasn't tied to palm os I would not have replaced my Treo but would have stuck with blackberry.
