  Seller stated he had not received my money, but offered to deliver the item in person if I paid him cash. I declined. He discovered the money in his current account. I offered to cancel the resolution I had started and continue with our original agreement if he would post the item. I did not receive a reply. I got my money back.

  Avoid this seller, potential scam artist. He took payment for the item and has now provided a weak excuse that 'eBay allowed the item to be sold twice'.

  Good news, refunded on day I raised complaint with eBay. First response had been that I had to take this up with eBay myself. My complaint/feedback did change this. However, because of eBay/PayPal policies, I still don't have the money back in my account. The item was listed twice by the seller with a twenty minute gap between listings. Taking a generous view I would say this was most likely a genuine mistake, but the 'not my fault, you sort it out' attitude wasn't helpful at the beginning.
