Easier than I thought
The buttons on my corsa keyfob were worn through and clearly needed to be dealt with before the whole thing disintegrated. While I am quite 'practical' I knew little about key fobs except they can be quite complicated because of the security features and you can't just buy an off the shelf replacement. Getting a replacement from a dealer was very, very expensive, and the 'send away' repair services offered on ebay for around £20 inconvenient, so I bought this repair kit for under £5 and thought I'd have a go myself. I did not attempt to replace the micro switches (new ones included) as this was not necessary and would need soldering skills, but transferring the existing circuit board in to the new shell, complete with the new battery supplied was quick and easy (5-10 minutes including figuring it out) and needed no special tools. End result a good as new key fob for less than a fiver and five minutes work. Great !

Shellac based primer
we restore and paint vintage furniture. After initial preparation we always prime with this primer because it will adhere to any original varnish or paint finish, act as a 'knotting' important on Pine furniture, and as a 'stain block' to prevent any old spillages e.g. ink that has soaked in to the original wood, from bleeding through. We have never had any problems with the final finish (usually oil based eggshell paint)
