Great title and the pictures said it all!
The pros are two locomotives and they are very affordable, they are new old stock with all detail parts, they came from Athearn with a full page history of EMD corporation and each locomotive is a replica of the very first SD40-2 and first GP38-2 to come off their production line. Really the only bad thing I have to say about this set and the others like it are very desirable by modelers and train enthusiasts so that can drive them up in price

For me it's a must have item for any railroad
Well, I like to create scenes or items that I have actually seen in person/imagination, pictures and items others have. I am a true kitbasher, I take something or many items and create replicas or models to be used and seen in the model railroad world. I currently have 25 projects in various stages of construction and several in the completed category. This product will be in a scene on a diorama which I also create. Believe it or not heavy equipment is typically used to moved derailed freight cars from the roadbed and right-of-way quickly so that the new roadbed and track construction can begin construction. Think about it, for every hour this track is down, I would say depending on traffic a railroad company is losing money. So a fast, reconstruction safely done to get this line open is very important to the company's bottom line. Again, a bulldozer is a necessary piece of equipment to have available to save time in railroad reconstruction. This is my third purchase of this dozer; it is a time period piece and perfect for any railroad scene with dirt work to be done. Allen Chamberlin

It gives me a great deal of insight to an actual ore mining operation involving the railroad
