You would need to be desperate to buy this
You would be hoping against hope that this SATA III drive will work against the stone age SATA in your drive bay -- many old school SATA interfaces do not complete the correct negotiation to talk this drive down to SATA II or allow for a fall back to SATA I. Be sure too that you are not hoping to install this against a serial-SATA which will be the default in any 5.25 bay intended for a DVD or CD drive. So when it comes down to it you are paying nearly £100 for the two bits of bent metal and the balance will buy the HDD component on the open market. Best bet is to look for a second-home 5.25 drive which will fit in straight away and if you do buy a new drive, in its glitzy anti-static wrapping check its SATA II or III status and find out who made the controller in you rig and check if it has any history of problems
