Great replacement lights!
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price, a real bargain for the "Do It Yourselfer" verses hiring a professional. The lights are sturdy, well made with the only exception being the plastic ground stake. I swapped out the plastic stakes in favor of a 12" piece of 1/2" rebar. I have used them for years with no problems. The light holds up very well in a constant barage of pine cones and pesky high winds noted for the Pacific Northwest. The only time I have had to replace them is when a tree limb crushed several of the lights. I also swaped out the 7 watt bulb in favor of a 4 watt bulb enabling me to add more lights without exceeding the total wattage recommended for the transformer.

A FUN way to use up scrape glass!
What a clever way to use up small pieces of glass leftover from other projects.. If one is knowledgable enough in pattern drafting you could even change the scale of the patterns to make bigger or smaller buildings. The patterns are very clear and easy to understand.

Good value for the money
I have used these for years and they have stood up well under less than perfect weather conditions. (Pine cone barrages and fallen limbs during high wind storms) However, I didn't use the plastic stake to insert them into the ground. I needed them higher and used a short 1/2" re-bar stake. I also exchanged out the connector. The main reason I purchased the lights were for the quality of the lights themselves which is very good for the price.
