Lets your child know that there a other types of English language in the country.
The book was bought for my daughter-in-law to read to her children (she is Glaswegian).
When I read it myself I found that I had to read it with a Scottish accent to get the full effect.

Excellent value for money
Bought for my granddaughter. When her guitar teacher saw it she was that impressed with quality and price she asked me for the details of where I purchased and was going to get a number of them to offer to other parents (at cost price).
