An experience with yesterday's Royal Air Force...........
As an avid follower of aviation history I try and build a library of historical material to aid my knowledge on the subject. This DVD is an excellent basic knowledge of the time, and the conditions the men in service were going through. The break through in new aircraft design and how through five years of Bombing the enemy, Bomber Command under the leadership of Bomber Harris became a finely tuned
Branch of the service we couldn't have done without. The DVD also serves as a tribute to the men of Bomber Command.

A riviting look at how the word Great was placed in front of Britain.
Having seen this documentary programme on television, I had to own a copy for my own personal library. This DVD has some of the best film footage of the period dealing with both the famous Dams Raid carried out by 617 Squadron , the destruction of the German Kreigsmarine's Tirpitz and the other
Raids that have come to be associated with 617 Squadron and it's infamous crews. This DVD is a wonderful source of information to any student of history, and as a born and bred Englishman gave me
So much pride and an appreciation of what the young men of Great Britain and our Commonwealth, the Czechs and Poles, endured during five years of total war. As a generation living in virtual peace today, we owe so much to the young men and women of Royal Air Forces Bomber Command. I would have no hesitation in recommending this DVD to any serious minded individuals who have a sincere interest in our past. It should always be remembered, a quotation by the late great Sir Winston Churchill, " A nation that forgets it's past, ....has no future".

Belle....excellent I enjoyed the DVD and a welcome addition to my collection
