Adam Rutherford is an excellent writer who conveys the complexity of our human story in a very straightforward and readable way which makes The Book of Humans fascinating.

A brilliant master or mistress at work over the significance of women in history.
A remarkable amount of research has gone into the significance of the contribution of women throughout history. It is an interesting and lively narrative from which one learns so much about women and their true place in history. It will be well worthwhile to persevere through hundreds of pages as they are written by a master or mistress who knows the subject matter very well indeed.

Explaining who we are
Rutherford’s book is outstanding for anyone interested in genealogy,
genetics, history and anthropology. His style is conversational, straightforward and therefore very easy to read. It is fascinating as it is full of
very interesting material on such a range of subjects related to who we are as humans and from where we all came. Highly recommended.
