Fairly accurate sensor
1 of 1 found this helpful This sensor is easy to setup both in SPI and I2C mode with different libraries. Tried Sparkfun and Adafruit BME280 libraries and they work with minimum setup. You need to make sure you use the 0x76 address when using the I2C interface.
The only reason I am taking a star off is because the sensor seems to be adding a few degrees to the temperature reading as it will be affected by the circuit temperature. However changing to Forced mode should attenuate the readings.
When calculating altitude you need to take into account the mean sea pressure in your location if you want to get proper values. You can feed this value in the Adafruit library, however the Sparkfun one will have a hard coded value.

Relatively good for the money. Could be better.
I have purchased this to use it mainly as a PSU for Arduino. However I wanted to have a voltage close enough to 5v. With this PSU my multimeter was reporting 5.4V when the 5V was selected which might be a bit over spec for some components. However this was relatively easy to fix by changing R27 inside from a 1k2 to 1k5 resistor. Now I get 4.98V on the 5V selection.
Other than this it does the job well and does not heat up too much just slightly warm.

A bit difficult to setup, the bars tend to bend as they need to be pressed really hard to fit. However it's lightweight and works as expected. Nothing too fancy.
