A classic Mysterey to ponder
2 of 2 found this helpful It contains the rarest & MOST RECENT episodes of the Poirot series with David Suchet. These episodes are affordable in the Boxed set form. The stories & plots are excelent, the mystery of the Blue train benefited from the celebrity guest star, but, often this is not enough to make up for the loss of Both the Affable Hastings, and Inspector Japp from the series. This may be due to the need to stick to the Agatha Christie plots, & books as they were written, but the supporting actors and actresses in the new roles are not always as memorable. David Suchet is still brilliant & no one else could ever play Poirot as well as he does. WELL worth the price, the ONLY big regret is that there may be a long wait for more episodes as these are the latest & last to be produced released, & the project of having David Suchet film ALL of the Poirot stories is still a work in progress. It does however give me many episodes more to look forward to in the future as the show is still in production.
