Screw is plastic but not flimsy, has a ring to allow for adjustment on how deep it screws

Factory-new product, military quality in both materials and manufacture
This is by far the best UBACS shirt I have ever bought. It has nothing to do with chinese clones, it has a very good lycra front and back, and reinforced arms with soft and comfy elbow and shoulder pads (removable).
Velcro on the arm pockets allows you to put your unit patches, and store anything, including pens, which you can secure with the built-in spacers.
Only thing you must do is choose a size below your average shirt size, because these run large; and also be careful not to put the spiky velcro part on the lycra zones, because it tends to catch, and it can make little balls that are very difficult to take out.
