back in the day
Started scarves at 6 Baaclava at 7 and socks at 9 then end of the war put a stop to that pattern
and more choice of yarn and operation stockings for the local hospital.
Wool was in ounces and skeins had to be wound by hand
I cannot believe this was the same pattern after all these years since 1945
