Misleadingly bad to assemble
Lacks pilot holes, you need a drill to assemble it. Not representative of the instructions

My Grandad's response
Many tracks have now been enjoyed. Others not. It’s a sort of karaoke for the pipes. They are strongest with a good melody, as with the classis BeeGees ballads. ‘Words’ become ‘Tunes’ quite effectively. On the disco, it depends on how much the backing track carries the piece and how much the pipes have to do. If they can just pipe-along it is fine. Unfortunately on ‘You should be dancing’ the pipes were required to contribute too much, and the urge to dance was not stimulated.
But the ultimate failure was ‘Islands in the stream’, where they seemed to know that the task was hopeless and they just gave up. There is not much of a tune and the vocals normally have to carry the song. The failure of the pipes to do so was compounded by the use of a single piper to represent the two vocally connected islands which are the essence of the piece.
Pan pipes are strictly karaoke and monophonic, but if a note would be otherwise too long and plain boring, we get a trill.
2 out of 10, so pretty good for the Pans. Your Grandmother hated it.
